Who We Are

As one of over 600 state and local chapters nationwide, we are dedicated to advocating for services that support citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our core mission is to offer programs and support services that empower individuals and their families.

Currently, The Arc of the Low Country is focusing on two key programs:

Continuing Education: Through this program, we engage with adult day centers to deliver structured learning modules that foster intellectual growth among their clients.

Family Financial Management Planning: Our team, consisting of attorneys, a tax accountant, an insurance industry representative, and a financial planner, provides guidance to parents, guardians, and caregivers on developing robust financial plans for their loved ones with disabilities.
